At Mini Paws Dachshunds, we believe that breeding miniature dachshunds is not to be viewed as a business but a passion for the breed itself. We are dedicated to breeding doxies that are not only healthy and happy but also reflect the unique personality and character of the miniature dachshund breed. Our commitment to our furkids and our customers is unwavering, and we strive to provide the best possible experience for everyone involved.
OUR FAMILY
A little about our family. We are a family of five (2 adult boys and 1 teenage girl).
Caring for our fur kids and puppies is done by all of us. Our doxies and puppies are around other family pets (i.e. Beagles, Belgium Malinois, and cats) and our great nephew who is a toddler. Our role in adapting our puppies at an early age plays a significant role in their future and how they’ll react towards other people and animals. The whole family brings their own special touch in how our fur kids and puppies socialization process is developed, ensuring that each adult dog and puppy is well-adjusted and comfortable with various life developments. They begin life with staying in our bedroom so we can keep a constant watch on momma and her pups. As the pups grow, we do not crate or kennel them we place them in a Pak-n-play which is soft, and they can still see us. This has proven to aid in early puppy pad training and being quite loyal, social and loving right from the beginning.
At Mini Paws Dachshunds, we believe that our puppies are not just pets, but beloved family members. Each dog is raised with the utmost care, ensuring they grow up healthy, happy, and ready to bring joy to their new homes. Dames and Sire
Well now let’s meet the queens and king themselves:
“Queen” Penelope Delacour. She’s a silver dapple, short-haired, smooth coat and holds dual registration with AKA and CKC. Her parents were the following: dame dapple smooth coat and short haired. Sire was a long-haired red.
"Queen" Arabella Ivy Mae, is a chocolate and tan, long-haired. She is AKC registered. Her parents are the following: dame chocolate and white lomg-hair dapple and sire lomg-hair cream
“King” Willow Dobby, is a red short-haired, smooth-coat and is CKC registered. His parents were the following: Dame short-haired and smooth-coat black and tan. Sire short-haired red.
Our Breeding Program
Our breeding program is designed to produce miniature dachshunds that are healthy, happy, and well-adjusted. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on a variety of factors, including health, temperament, and conformation. All of our doxies have been tested for an array of health concerns (I.e IVDD, subluxation of knees, etc.) with Embark for Breeders. Our doxies are raised in a loving and nurturing environment, and we take great care to ensure that they receive the best possible care and socialization.
